One circuit, every way in — bring your own car, jump in ours, swing a leg over
a bike or learn car control from the professionals. Every experience below runs
on the same FIA Grade 2 racetrack the champions use.
Every experience follows the same simple road in. No club membership required to
get started — just a booking, a licence where noted, and the will to use it.

Check the requirements
Each experience lists its licence, age, gear and vehicle rules up
front — most need nothing more than a road licence. The full checklist lives in
Track Access Requirements.
Pit note Helmets are compulsory on track.
No lid? Hire one at sign-on rather than buying for day one.

Pit note ARDC members save on almost
every SMSP-run session. The maths favours joining fast.
Arrive. Drive or ride.
Gate A off Ferrers Road, sign-on, drivers' briefing, then the pit
lane light goes green. The rest is between you and the circuit.
Pit note Arrive an hour before your

Driver & rider stories
They arrived nervous too.
Different lanes in, one debrief out —
nobody leaves talking about anything else.
“SMSP Track Day
I was nervous about my first time on track,
but the instructors made me feel confident before we'd even left pit lane. The
whole day was so well organised — I can't wait to come back.
Sam MitchellFirst track day★★★★★
“SMSP Track Night
Track nights are incredible. The atmosphere
under the lights is different from any daytime session — the lighting is
perfect and the pace is serious. It's become my monthly ritual.
James CostaMonthly regular★★★★★
“SMSP Ride Night
The whole experience was smooth from booking
to the track. Professional staff, clear instructions and a safe environment —
I'd already booked my next ride night before I got home.
Michael TorresRider★★★★★
“V8 Race Experience
Three flying laps in a genuine V8 race car —
the braking alone rearranged what I thought was possible. Best birthday present
I've ever been given, hands down.
Rob EllisonHot laps passenger★★★★★
“Superbike School
I'd been riding for twenty years and figured
I knew my lines. One day with the coaches rewired everything — I came home
smoother, faster and safer than I've ever been.
Peter NovakTwenty-year rider★★★★★
“Open Pit Lane
Open pit lane means no sessions and no
waiting — you roll out whenever you're ready. I logged more laps in one day
than my last three track days put together.

Why SMSP
Because some laps stay with you.
Not-for-profit since 1952 — every dollar you spend
on an experience is reinvested into the circuit, the coaching and the community
that make the next one better.
Every corner of Sydney Motorsport Park, explained on video by the people who race
it — braking markers, apexes and the lines that matter. Watch the laps before you
drive or ride them, and arrive already knowing the way around.
For most experiences, no — a current road licence (full or
provisional) covers track days, drive experiences and training programs.
Competition formats like Night Sprints add a speed licence you can complete
on the day, and each listing spells out exactly what it needs before you pay.
If it's road-registered and mechanically sound, almost
certainly. Cars need a secure battery, good tyres and brakes, and nothing
loose in the cabin; bikes need working controls and no fluid leaks. Race and
unregistered vehicles are welcome at dedicated formats like Test & Tune —
scrutineering on arrival has the final say.
We run rain or shine — a wet circuit is half the education,
and instructors adjust the program to suit. Sessions only stop for genuinely
unsafe conditions like lightning or standing water, and if the operator
cancels, you're rebooked or refunded per that experience's terms.
Drivers: an approved helmet, natural-fibre clothing from neck
to ankle, and closed shoes — helmets can be hired at sign-on. Riders: full
leathers or approved two-piece with back protector, gloves and boots. Drive
experiences in our cars include everything, race suit down to the balaclava.
Please do — spectating is free at track days and experiences,
parking included. Guests get pit-lane viewing at most formats, and passengers
over sixteen can often ride along in graded sessions for a small fee. V8 and
supercar experiences love an audience on the fence.
An hour before your briefing time is the sweet spot — enough
for Gate A, sign-on, scrutineering and a coffee without watching the clock.
Your confirmation email carries the exact schedule; the drivers' briefing is
compulsory, and missing it means missing the first session.
Choose a dollar value or a specific experience, add a message,
and it's delivered by email within minutes. Vouchers are valid for three years,
transferable, and redeemable across nearly everything on this page — the
recipient picks their own date when they're ready.
Genuinely. Members get discounted entry to SMSP-run track days,
nights and private practice, presale windows before public release, and
members-only formats like NIGHTSHIFT. If you're on track more than twice a
year, an Enthusiast membership at $105 usually pays for itself.
Three tiers — Enthusiast ($105/yr), Enthusiast + ($245/yr)
and Competitor ($170/yr) — each available in car and bike flavours, on one or
three year terms, with concession rates for valid Government concession holders.
The membership page compares
every category side by side.
Enthusiast is built around watching and doing — complimentary
event access, discounted tickets and member pricing on track days. Competitor
layers on the racing life: race entry and private practice discounts, Club
Champion eligibility and voting rights. If you hold (or want) a race licence,
Competitor is your tier; if track days are the goal, Enthusiast + earns its
keep with priority bookings and 15% off experiences.
Join online in about five minutes — pick your tier, car or bike,
and a one or three year term. Your digital member card lands by email and the
benefits switch on immediately, so a membership bought on Thursday saves you
money at Saturday's track day.
