Forty-eight hours, engineered.
Two days, two objectives: first build the driver, then put them in the car. What follows is the hour-by-hour breakdown.
Day 01
Build the foundation
Before a single lap, a driver learns how a Formula car thinks, and how their own body and mind need to perform to master it.
- 01 Briefing & expectations Program overview, safety, and the standard of a serious racing driver.
- 02 Driver-performance baseline Fitness, focus and reaction testing with Focus Driver Performance.
- 03 Simulator & theory Racing lines, braking, gears and car control, learned before the risk.
- 04 Coaching notes A one-to-one review that sets each driver's goals for day two.
Day 02
Get closer to the car
Theory becomes reality. The driver is fitted to a Formula 4 car and guided through their first single-seater laps.
- 05 Formula 4 familiarisation Seat fitting, controls, and systems on the AGI Sport machinery.
- 06 Circuit learning Sydney Motorsport Park, corner by corner, with an experienced coach.
- 07 On-track sensations The grip, braking and speed only a race car delivers.
- 08 Debrief & next steps A written driver assessment and a mapped route into Formula 4.

Yes. The Academy is built for experienced karters, typically racing at state or national level. It's a development step from the kart to a Formula car, not a first-time driving experience. If you're unsure whether your driver is ready, register and we'll talk it through.

The program is designed for drivers aged 14 to 18. Fourteen is the minimum age to be seated in the Formula 4 machinery, in line with the car's specification and our safety requirements.

Safety is central to every hour. The on-track program runs on Formula 4 machinery prepared and supervised by AGI Sport's professional team, with FIA-standard safety equipment and a low driver-to-coach ratio. Theory and simulator work on day one build the skills before any on-track running begins.

Because places are limited and each intake is tailored, pricing and the full inclusions are shared in the prospectus once you register your interest. There's no payment required to enquire, and no obligation.

Every driver leaves with a written performance assessment and a mapped route into Formula 4 and Australian championship racing. The relationships built with AGI Sport and Focus Driver Performance continue beyond the Academy for drivers who choose to progress.
